The results of magnetic separation use in ore processing of metalliferous raw basalt of Volyn region

Abstract: Purpose. To determine the effectiveness of the electric field use in ore processing for extraction of native copper concentrate from raw basalt, to identify the most technologically advanced grain-size classes of the feed stock. To define the nature of the relationship between the amount of recoverable concentrate and the main dominant factorsseparator field density and the coarseness of the prepared raw material. Methods. We used the substantiated physical and chemical methods of elemental, mineral, fractional… Show more

“…Along the first line there is a decrease of the territory towards the river Goryn. The distances between the wells in the second line, respectively, 50, 250, 300, 400, 500 m Processing of data of field measurements was carried out jointly with specialists in the laboratory of the State Department of Ecology and Natural Resources in Rivne region [23,24].…”

“…Taking into consideration positive effect of vibration in the process of amber extraction method implementation in the context of sandy deposits, special structure of vibration classifier has been designed making it possible to extract maximally even fine-size amber with the least technological losses [34,35]. Further studies made it possible to upgrade spiral classifier up to the configuration when integrated action of vibration, and water and air supply is used intensifying a process of amber fractions buoying up [36,37].…”
