The Research on Two-Component Materials Mixed Method for Vacuum Casting

Abstract: To solve vacuum casting process exist two-component polyurethane difficult to uniform mixing problems. A non-symmetric eccentric large blade agitator was proposed and the speed was period changed to strengthen the mixed effects. A fluid dynamics of variable speed agitator tank was proposed to numerical simulation flow behacior with Euler - Euler two-fluid model and the dynamic mesh (SM) method. Though numerical simulate to study flow field characteristics of variable speed agitator tank.. The experiment result… Show more

“…Another aspect that has been studied is the resin vacuum casting process. Zhang et al designed an asymmetric eccentric large blade agitator and changed the stirring speed to enhance the stirring effect, effectively solving the problem that polyurethane resin materials are difficult to mix evenly in the vacuum pouring process [ 15 ]. Bin Ahmad et al optimized the three parameters of resin temperature, mold temperature and vacuum pressure time in the vacuum casting process by the Taguchi method and were able to reduce the shrinkage effect by 52.4% [ 16 ].…”
