The Research of Measuring Plasma Parameters with Internal Double Langmuir Probe in Galatea

Abstract

This paper aims to achieve the measurement of plasma parameters in Galatea. Firstly, we research the measurement principle and the theory of electron density and electron temperature calculation. Then, we analyze the probe characteristics, select the cylindrical probe to measure plasma space potential, the spherical probe to measure the plasma electron density and electron temperature. Finally, we take a simulation analysis of confined plasma in Trymyx, combing the device structure and simulation results, and we make reasonable arrangement of the probe and make effective probe measurement program to obtain the velocity distribution of the plasma shape and plasma.
