Abstract

The Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status provides standardized scores for adults age 20 to 89. However, there are situations in which the use of the battery for adults aged 18-20 may be appropriate and have practical advantages. Thus, at present, an examiner who uses the battery for adult patients must rely on an entirely different evaluation tool for those adult patients under the age of 20 years. This preliminary investigation suggests the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status is a valid measure for men aged 18-20 years.
