“…Pediatric psychiatrists assessed all T1D patients using the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age Children/Present and Lifetime Turkish Version (K-SADS-PL-T) (16) based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-5 (DSM-5) criteria (17,18) to rule out psychiatric conditions.
