The Relaxant Activity of 4,7-Dimethyl-1,2,5-oxadiazolo[3,4-d]-pyridazine 1,5,6-Trioxide in the Mouse Corpus Cavernosum

Abstract: We have studied the effect of an activator of soluble guanylate cyclase 4,7-dimethyl-1,2,5-oxadiazolo [3,4-d]pyridazine 1,5,6-trioxide (FPTO) on the tone and nitrergic relaxation responses of mouse cavernous strips and compared FPTO to a known nitric oxide donor sodium nitroprusside. FPTO thiol-dependently generated nitric oxide measured by polarography and activated purified human soluble guanylate cyclase. FPTO and sodium nitroprusside relaxed the cavernous tissue in a concentration-dependent manner. A nitri… Show more

“…In recent years, Poly (3-hexylthophene) (P3HT), as an excellent polymer donor, has attracted wide attentions, as well as good uniformity and conjugation which favor hole transport. Recently, Pyridazine (P) and its derivatives have been studied in optical and medical fields due to their good conjugation and bearing two or more N-heteroatom rings, [12,13] furthermore, the bisdiazine ligands in which pyridazines are as acceptors lead to Ru(II) complexes with higher photostabilities. Since pyridazine (P) and its derivatives have so many excellent features, whether they can be used in solar cell fields?…”
