“…Dallalio et al (26) showed a positive correlation between hepcidin and ferritin in patients with anemia. In a study where 94 patients with IDA and 91 control groups were included, it was found that hepcidin level was lower in the patient group with IDA compared to the control group (27). The largest studies performed with hepcidin to date are two large studies including 2998 patients in the Netherlands and 1577 patients in Italy.…”
