Abstract-Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) is an important economic entity in most country including Malaysia. Statistic from SME Corporation Malaysia shows that currently, there are 645, 136 SMEs and they contribute 32.7% of Malaysia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the forecast will be 41% by 2020. Statistics also have indicated that a large portion of the country's environmental problems are associated with the activities of SMEs and it is also believed that SMEs are primary source of environmental problems. Therefore, the participation of SMEs in adopting environmental friendly innovations is crucial in the effort to reduce environmental problems. Past literature have shown that technological determinants have established a stable influence in adoption of environmental innovations researches. However, past researchers have ignored the influence of organizational determinants in influencing adoption of environmental innovations. Thus, this study investigated the organizational determinants such as top management support and quality of human resources in influencing Malaysian SMEs to adopt one of the environmental innovations which is green productions. Data for this study were collected through questionnaire and analyzed by using SPSS. All organizational determinants for this study showed a significant influence on green production adoption. Since this study can be considered as one of the first attempts to empirically investigate organizational factors of green production adoption, the result helped scholars, government and government agencies to understand SMEs' behavior related to green production.

In order to enhance the performance of green supply chain management (GSCM) in computer and its peripheral manufacturing organisations, the supply chain managers need to identify the internal as well as the external factors and they need to understand the interdependencies of these factors. This paper has attempted to identify the success factors for green supply chain management in Indian manufacturing firms and provides an interpretive structural model (ISM) to develop a map of the complex relationships and magnitude among identified success factors. The results represent that Indian computer peripheral manufacturing industries should be equipped with proper management strategy based on customer support to achieve the long-term objective such as performance of marketing and communication of GSCM in most efficient way within a short span of time. In addition to that the proposed ISM model acts as good guideline in order to improve the performance of GSCM in the computer and its peripheral manufacturing organisations in India. of teaching, research and industry experience in India and abroad. He has published a number of papers in national and international conferences and journals. His major areas of interest include production operations management, multivariate analysis, service operations management, supply chain management and productivity management. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers, India.

ResumenEste trabajo aborda el problema de innovación de proyectos internos con el objetivo de desarrollar el proceso de innovación de productos industriales. Para estos efectos se presenta una metodología de mejora en el modelo de innovación de una empresa privada de innovación y servicios tecnológicos, llamada Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje Industrial (SENAI), ubicada en Manaus, Amazonas (Brasil). Para lograr esto se llevó a cabo una revisión de la literatura sobre el tema de innovación y para modificar la estrategia de innovación se utilizó de un estudio con los quince proyectos presentados por el SENAI en el año de 2014 a través del modelo de innovación abierta. El análisis del modelo de innovación abierta y el estudio de casos permitieron detectar los principales problemas, lo que posibilitó la creación de un nuevo modelo con quince etapas para trabajar la innovación. Se concluye que el modelo propuesto ha permitido mejorar la gestión de proyectos de innovación y que el modelo puede ser utilizado por todas las empresas. Palabras clave: modelos de innovación; proyectos; administración; tecnología; estrategias de innovación Optimization of the Innovation Process for Internal Projects in Companies AbstractThis paper addresses the problem of internal innovation projects with the aim of developing the innovation process of industrial products. To this end a methodology for improving the innovation model of a private company for innovation and technology services, named National Service of Industrial Learning (SENAI), located in Manaus, Amazonas (Brazil) is presented. To achieve this we conducted a literature review on the topic of innovation and to modify the innovation strategy a study with fifteen projects presented by SENAI in the year 2014 using the open innovation model was used. The analysis of the open innovation model and case studies allowed detecting the main problems, which allowed the creation of a new model with fifteen stages of innovation to work on innovation. It is concluded that the proposed model has allowed improving the management of innovation projects and that the model can be used by any company.
