The Relationship Between Situation of Land Cover 300m Around and Microclimate in Consideration of the Geographic Characteristic and Wind Environment at Weather Observation Point in Various Parts in Japan

Abstract

This report is based on the research of effect of land cover change on the city climate using remote sensing data. This also considered the geographical characteristic and wind environment. In analysis of the land cover, data from two different times over a fifteen year period were analyzed. Land cover was classified at 314 weather observation points and the relationship to climate changes was analyzed. At points with no change, the inclination of temperature was 0.051 per year and, at urbanized points, the inclination of temperature was 0.061 per year. From the results of factor analysis done using type quantification, it was also found that latitude and land cover have a large influence on the temperature rise. In the land cover, the case high proportion of artificial land cover" and "urbanization" influenced strongly to temperature rise.
