The realised and unrealised benefits of the EU Single Market: current views

Abstract: The article presents current views from the Commission staff and independent analysts on the types and the magnitude of the economic benefits provided by the EU Single Market as well as channels through which they materialise. The article first looks both at the already obtained and yet-to-be reaped gains, from the macroeconomic, sectoral and firm perspective.
