The Real World Web

Abstract: Real world web development is a complex and messy practice. The web professional must be able to configure a myriad of services, many of which interface with the wider world and web. Teaching those concepts is not difficult, but applying that knowledge can be a challenge, especially when dealing with institutional IT policies that preclude working with some technologies.
