The radio warning service for Apple and Pear scab in the Netherlands.

Abstract: The methods used by the Plantenziektenkundige Dienst, Wageningen, in forecasting possible outbreaks of apple and pear scab (Venturia inaequalis and V. pirina) in the Netherlands [cf. 35, p. 302] are described. The work is done in collaboration with the Royal Dutch Meteorological Institute, the Horticultural Extension Service, and several private fruit growers.
