A review of entrepreneurship literature suggests that entrepreneurial activities are the most important drivers for economic growth and corporate success, regardless of size, age or industry. Nevertheless, so far, only a few studies, if any, have considered entrepreneurship as a success factor for construction enterprises, although the importance of the construction industry to the nation's economic growth is significant. This paper reports a conceptual framework for formulating the success and survival factors of entrepreneurs in the construction industry. It also integrates four major perspectives in entrepreneurship: entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurial organization, entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial environment.

AnotaceČlánok sa zaoberá analýzou tokov priamych zahraničných investícií vo vybraných krajinách. Pre analýzu boli zvolené nasledovné krajiny: Česká republika, Maďarsko, Poľsko a Slovensko. V článku popisujeme pozitíva plynúce z PZI pre krajiny. Následne analyzujeme vo vybraných krajinách mieru nezamestnanosti a úroveň minimálnej mzdy, keďže ide o ukazovatele, ktoré sú dôležité pre investorov pri výbere cieľových krajín. V ďalšej časti analyzujeme výšku PZI vo vybraných krajinách v období 2008 -2012. V závere uvádzame zhrnutia z vývoja PZI v uvedených regiónoch. Klíčová slova priame zahraničné investície, miera nezamestnanosti, minimálna mzdaAnnotation This article deals with the development of foreign direct investments. We analyse FDI in selected countries. We choose Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia for comparison. We describe positives for countries to export FDI. Then we analyse mentioned countries through unemployment rate and minimum wages, because these indicators are important for investors by choosing the target countries. Than we analyse the amount of FDI in selected countries in the period of 2008 -2012. Last, we make conclusions about the amount of FDI flows in mentioned regions. JEL classification: R11Úvod Priame zahraničné investície podporujú rozvoj ekonomík, zvyšujú zamestnanosť v regiónoch a pozitívne vplývajú aj na obchodnú bilanciu. Zahraniční investori vstupujú na nové trhy z dôvodu diverzifikácie predaja, kvôli kvalifikovanej a lacnej pracovnej sile, či už z dôvodu zvýšenia obratu, alebo príležitostí nových trhov. Podmienkou pre vstup je však atraktívne prostredie, ktoré sa spája s kvalitnou infraštruktúrou, s kvalifikovanou ale zároveň lacnou pracovnou silou a s množstvom potenciálnych zákazníkov.Tento príspevok je výstupom z projektu KEGA-032PU-4/2013.
