The problems of optimal design in the automotive industry

Abstract: The paper considers the general problems of optimization of parameters of a vehicle at the design stage. The approaches to the solution of the task are set out. The questions of a choice of the objective function and the system of limitations are in focus, as the problem of optimization makes sense, if there are several possible variants of its solution.Reference to this paper should be made as follows: Dyakov, I. 2013. “…Sumažinti finansavimo ir laiko resursai gamybos procese sudaro visas sąlygas atsirasti prastesnės kokybės automobiliams. Tačiau transporto priemonės gendamumui neabejotinai turi įtakos ir jos eksploatavimo sąlygos, ir vairuotojo kvalifikacija (Dyakov 2013), todėl šio tyrimo rezultatų nereikėtų suabsoliutinti, automobilių gedimus siejant vien tik su gamintoju.…”

“…The normalized decision matrix is shown in Table 5. After that, the weighted normalized decision matrix (W WNM ) is determined using equation (12). Next, the positive ideal solution (V j * ) and negative ideal solution (V j -) are taken from the W WNM and the separation measures are calculated from the ideal solution using equation (13).…”
