Abstract: Category: Midfoot/Forefoot Introduction/Purpose: Hallux rigidus (HR) is known as osteoarthritis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint (MPJ). The radiographical findings of HR are characterized by joint space narrowing, osteophytic lipping of the metatarsal head and proximal phalanx and sesamoid hypertrophy.
