The Prevalence of Deep Vein Thrombosis and Associated Risk Factors Among Patients with COVID-19 in the North of Iran

Abstract: Aim: We aimed to investigate the associated risk factors of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) among COVID-19 patients. Materials & methods: In this cross-sectional study the demographical data and clinical characteristics of 382 COVID-19 patients were collected and analyzed. Results: The DVT was observed in 53 patients (14.1%). The rate of death was significantly associated with the incidence of DVT, 48.1 versus 32.2% in non-DVT cases; p = 0.034).
