In spina bifida, heel pressure injuries were reported to be the most common location for pressure injuries; whereas in the pediatric intensive care unit, pressure injuries were most common on the scalp and face area; in children with congenital heart disease, pressure injury occurred most commonly at the sacrum, buttocks, or coccyx 14,15,17,18.
