Abstract:A study was made for the continuous flow of the working fluid through a cylindrical throttle channel (so-called “locking effect”). The flow of the fluid into the atmosphere and the change in absolute pressure at the inlet to the throttle channel ranging between 0.221 MPa and 0.24 MPa are studied. It was found that the pressure in the compressed section inside the throttle channel remains almost constant and equal to 4 kPa. A comparison is made of the experimental values of the flow rate determined for the same… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
