The preparation, characterization of FeC micro‐electrolysis materials using low‐cost biochar and the removal of ultra‐high COD pesticide wastewater

Abstract: Two kinds of FeAC micro-electrolysis materials (FeAC MEMs) named Fe 0 /FeAC MEMs and Fe 3 O 4 /FeAC MEMs were prepared using low-cost biochar, chemical grade Fe 0 powder and industrial iron powder. The FeAC MEMs were characterized by XRD, SEM and FT-IR. Meanwhile, the effects of sintering temperatures and mass ratios of Fe to C on the treatment high chemical oxygen demand (COD) pesticide wastewater were studied.
