Abstract:The Binary Offset Carrier (BOC) modulated signal, originating from the modernized GPS proposals, is a new signal type. The sharp autocorrelation function (ACF) of a BOCmodulated signal can greatly improve positioning accuracy and anti-multipath performance, but its multi-peak autocorrelation function also triggers acquisition ambiguity. Based on the acquisition process of GPS signals, this paper presents two unambiguous acquisition methods of BOC-modulated signals, SCPC and Bump-Jump. Their detection probabili… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
