The Perceived Marital Intimacy of Spouses Directly Influences the Rehabilitation Motivation of Hospitalized Stroke Survivors

Abstract: Spousal support is likely to influence the rehabilitation motivation of stroke survivors who require long-term rehabilitation. This study was conducted to examine the reciprocal effects of the depressive symptoms and marital intimacy of stroke survivors and their spouses, and identify the factors that influence the rehabilitation motivation of stroke survivors.
