The pentaquark candidates in the dynamical diquark picture

Abstract: Starting with the dynamical picture of the exotic cc-containing states XYZ as the confinementinduced hadronization of a rapidly separating pair of a compact diquark and antidiquark, we describe the pentaquark candidates P + c (4380) and P + c (4450) in terms of a confined but rapidly separating color-antitriplet diquark cu and color-triplet "triquark"c(ud). This separation explains the relatively small P + c widths, despite these 5-quark systems lying far above both the J/ψ p and ΛcD ( * )0 thresholds. The P +… Show more

“…[22] questions their molecular properties. On the other hand, with different theoretical models, they also can be explained as a diquark state [23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31], a compact pentaquark state [32], a soliton-D − D bound state [33], or contrarily a kinematical effect or a cusp effect [34][35][36]. As suggested in Refs.…”

“…There are many interesting studies on these two P c states in the literature. They may be interpreted as the compact pentaquark states, where the five quarks are tightly bounded and interact with each other via color magnetic interaction directly [6,7]. They are also regarded as the loosely bound molecular states composed of one meson and one baryon [8][9][10][11][12][13].…”
