The Pediatric Hip: A Rare Case of Acetabular Labral Tear and Paralabral Cyst

Abstract: Case: We report the case of an active 8-year-old patient with a 2-year history of groin and thigh pain. Magnetic resonance imaging of the hip demonstrated a paralabral cyst arising from a superior labral tear. Arthroscopic labral repair and decompression of the cyst were performed, and the patient remains asymptomatic at 2-year follow-up.
