“…It should be noted that, in Raman spectra of MnNbOF 5 -BaF 2 glasses, the "boson" peak appears in the same place, near 45 cm − 1 , but its frequency decreases to 33 cm − 1 with modifier Pb in place of Ba. In the lowfrequency Raman spectra for glasses in the InF 3 -BaF 2 -BiF 3 system [15,21], we observed the same effect: the frequency of "boson" peak does not depend on the BiF 3 -content in glass. One can assume that the BiF 3 -polyhedra in the glasses under analysis do not enter in MRO but form their own layers or regions having no connection with the chains or rings formed by fluoroniobate ions.…”
