The pattern of inflammatory markers during electroconvulsive therapy in older depressed patients

Abstract: An association is found between changes in cytokine levels and antidepressant treatment outcome. Also, a proinflammatory profile is associated with a favourable electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) outcome.
