The patient perspective on remote monitoring of patients with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator: Narrative review and future directions

Abstract: Although RPM seems to be safe, effective, timely, and efficient, the patient perspective has received little attention so far. “…To the best of our knowledge, this was the first study to examine longterm patient experiences with RPM, and to explore which sociodemographic, clinical, and psychological factors are associated with patients' preferences for ICD follow-up.
