India is experiencing a brutal onslaught of second severe savage of corona wave and its ominous impact on lives and livelihood. A shaking health care system and a tottering economy are staring on our face. The citizen as well as the government is realizing that there is a vast scope of improvement in the medical infrastructure throughout the nation. The present heath care system proving to be inadequate to serve this vast population. The country is realizing the shortage of medical staff, frontline health workers and over and above a great paucity of proper medical infrastructure set up. This is an ominous sign. India needs more number of hospitals, trained doctors, nurses and other trained health care workers to meet several challenges in its heath care system. Considering these it is imperative to focus on set up of medical infrastructure instead of giving emphasis on medical insurance. For this government should formulate proper policies on set up of medical infrastructure and should spend more on public health care. In-fact the average spending by government on public health care for last five years is 1.28% of Gross Domestic product (GDP), which is even lesser than the average spending of OECD countries i.e 8% of GDP. A study has been made to prove that medical infrastructure and not the medical insurance scheme like Ayushman Bharat Yojana is the need of the hour.

The world is facing a difficult situation, which is a pandemic caused by the Novel Corona virus, which first appeared in China's Wuhan Province in December 2019. One of the main problems in this difficult and crucial situation is coping with pregnant women all over the world. The COVID-19 pandemic is wreaking havoc on society in a variety of ways, the most serious of which is mental health. This outbreak began as a result of a laboratory accident in Wuhan, China. People are suffering from mental problems as a result of disruptions in many aspects of society, the most critical of which is "socializing." The government's sudden decision to put the country on lockdown has caused significant social rifts. Their psychosocial thinking is directly impacted by this social distancing. People have begun to overthink everyday problems that have not been fully addressed as a result of the lockdown. The many issues associated with this quarantine have now been illustrated as a result of the rise in time and alienation from society.

Background: Coronavirus is pandemic virus infection which has recently affected the globe, and as a result, in patients with non-communicable diseases, the associated morbidity and death are substantially greater. One of the most common non-communicable diseases linked to worsening clinical conditions in corona virus patients is diabetes mellitus (dm). Covid-19 is a zoonotic illness that was firstly found in wuhan city of china, and is now recognized a zoonotic disease that spreads from moist animals to people in 2019. The disease has a low fatality rate and only affects the most seriously ill patients. Approximately 80% of the cases involve patients who are seriously to moderately ill. Since the outbreak of the disease, the number of people who have died has continuously increased. Summary: The aim for this study is to determine the receptors involved in diabetes and the pathogenetic relationship btw. Covid-19 and diabetes. Both diseases are characterized by inflammation and the release of inflammatory markers. The roles of angiotensin-converting enzyme molecule and dipeptidyl peptidase in covid-19 and diabetes have been investigated. The effects of glucocorticoids and catecholamines, invasion of pancreatic islet cells, medications used to treat covid-19, and hence the lockdown policy, may have a deleterious impact on diabetes patients' glucose control. The results of covid-19 research involving diabetic and non-diabetic patients were also examined. Various medication trials, such as the dapagliflozin and linagliptin trials are still being conducted to see if certain medications are suitable for diabetic people with covid-19. Conclusion: Diabetes is a risk factor for covid-19 patients, according to the data, leading to their severity and mortality. This article also contains guidelines and recommendations that may be useful in the management and avoidance of diabetic individuals who are infected with covid-19.
