The outcome of resurgence of diphtheria in older children in a tertiary care hospital

Abstract: Background: Diphtheria is a fatal bacterial infection which affects the mucous membranes of oropharyngeal and nasal cavity, caused by aerobic gram-positive bacteria Corynebacterium diphtheriae.
