Abstract:Background:
Gallstones are more common in obese individuals than in healthy individuals. They are diagnosed during the preoperative evaluation for bariatric surgery (BS). However, simultaneous cholecystectomy with BS is still controversial in patients with asymptomatic gallstones in the same session.
