The osseointegration of Ti-Zr implants – a new perspective in oral implantology

Abstract: Pure titanium represents one the most widespread biomaterials used for dental implants; on the other hand titanium alloyed with aluminum and vanadium (Ti-6Al-4V) is mostly used in the technological process of fabrication of dental prosthetic restorations.
