“…In the present Letter polarization imaging screen was demonstrated using vector gratings, in which the optical anisotropy is periodically rotated, fabricated by photocrosslinkable polymer liquid crystals. Unlike conventional polarizing screen consisting of dichroic polarizing films, [2][3][4] the vector gratings using photocrosslinkable polymer liquid crystals are transparent in the visible region and operate by locally modifying the polarization state of lightwaves passing through them.
