The Occurrence of Tellurium and Bismuth in the Gold-Bearing Polymetallic Sulfide Ores in the Sudetes (Sw Poland)

Abstract: Streszczenie W artykule szczegółowo scharakteryzowano pod względem mineralogicznym i geochemicznym występowanie telluru i bizmutu w złotonośnych siarczkowych rudach polimctalicznych z zarzu- conych złóż (Złoty Stok, Czarnów, Radzimowicc i Radomicc) oraz punktu mineralizacji (Bardo Śląskie) w Sudetach. Tellur jest zaliczany do pierwiastków krytycznych, a jego rola stale wzrasta. Na rynkach światowych popyt na tellur znacznie przewyższa jego podaż zc względu na coraz większe wykorzystanie np. w produkcji pa… Show more

“…In the Sin Quyen copper deposit Te and Bi are trace elements with 1.9 ppm and 1.4 ppm of average concentration respectively. These concentrations are comparable with that in the other IOCG deposits in the World (Mikulski, 2014). Generally presence of Te and Bi in IOCG deposit is related to the Au-Ag-Bi-Te-Pb mineral association as arsenopyrite and polymetallic sulfite (Mikulski, 2014).…”

“…Lo cal Oligocene quartz grav els may also have been sourced from weath ered Au-bear ing hy dro ther mal veins of the KMC (Urbañski, 2010); this seems prob a ble in view of the com po sition of the microinclusions and their host gold grains de scribed in this pa per. The oc cur rence of bis muth min er als in as so ci ation with gold is sim i lar to the min er al iza tion of the polymetallic veins that oc cur around Radzimowice and Klecza-Radomice (Mikulski, 2005(Mikulski, , 2007a(Mikulski, , 2014.…”
