Abstract: Hepatitis Virus C (HCV) is still a major medical challenge worldwide, with more than 70 million infected individuals. HCV is a 9.6 kb RNA virus that encodes a single polyprotein, which is split into 10 structural and non-structural (NS) proteins. The NS proteins are involved in various steps of the virus life cycle.
