Future studies should elucidate the similarities and differences between these grallatorid tracks, as some Jialingpus tracks have been described in the Late Jurassic/Early Cretaceous of Europe , and analysis of the differences between Jialingpus and other grallatorid tracks (including Kalohipus) is "pending" (Xing et al, 2014). In this regard it is interesting to note the differences in mesaxony between both Kalohipus and Jialingpus (low mesaxony) and Grallator (high mesaxony), the question being whether mesaxony is a good ichnotaxobase for discriminating between the three ichnotaxa.…”
