Abstract: Characterizing the neurochemical systems involved in responsiveness to hypnotic suggestions has the potential to advance our understanding of the neurocognitive bases of verbal suggestion but also to develop novel interventions for enhancing responsiveness to suggestions in clinical and experimental contexts.
