The Nationwide Aspect of Expansion of Utility Area on Small-Scale Multi-Care Facility for Aged

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain the nationwide aspect of expansion of utility area on Small-Scale Multi-Care facility for aged through investigation the real utility area and critical consideration about the planning concept of service area.The following facts have been clarified. The utility area of the almost of facilities have extended beyond the planned service area and the concept of community based care service has been emasculated. The reasons for this phenomenon are as follow; excessive competition by owners of facility to get users, user's mind to hope protecting privacy, user's request to hope staying at facility for long term, poor permeation to people concerned and ambiguity in the planning concept.
