The nad‐dependent alcohol dehydrogenase of methylotrophic yeasts – an electrophoretic study (i)

Abstract: The occurence of multiple forms of alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) in methylotrophic yeasts is known from the literature. But no systematic work has been done to characterize these enzymes in detail. The aim of this work was to establish a suitable electrophoretic method for visualization of the ADH-patterns of these organisms.
