Abstract:The eruption of Mount Anak Krakatau occurred on December 22, 2018, in the Sunda Straits, Indonesia, causing a tsunami that affected the coastal area of Banten Province. We use COMCOT 1.7 to make a tsunami model based on flank collapse caused by a landslide tsunami. The aim of study is to remodel past events to anticipate the mechanism and impact of the damage in the future.
