The morphosyntax of Gothic preverb compounds: incorporation and applicativisation

Abstract:Gothic preverb compounds illustrate several interesting characteristics, including multiple preverb stacking, idiomatisation, tmesis (i.e., separation by clitics), and P-copying (i.e., multiple pronunciation of the preverb).
