Abstract: SummaryThe movements of human synovial cells and their associated pericellular gels have been studied by time.lapse microcinematography for periods up to 5 hr.In sparse cultures, changes in cell shape are predominant, with individual cells exhibiting changes in shape common to most types of cell in culture.
