Co-production is an idea being discussed in the international public management literature but less so in New Zealand and Australia. Co-production rejects the idea of service delivery to passive users, proposing instead they be treated as active participants in the production of outcomes. As partners in delivery, users bring resources, skills and capabilities to their interactions with providers. Co-production requires providers to share power and negotiate the interaction. There are strong managerial reasons for adopting co-production to improve effectiveness and efficiency. But the political reasons for adopting co-production are even stronger because of trends of many decades towards greater citizen participation. These reasons oblige public managers in Australasia to adopt co-production in many fields of policy as part of the future.

Neste texto partimos da natureza epistemológica do registo arqueológico para dar ênfase à arqueologia enquanto prática de materialização da alteridade. Com este propósito, desenvolvemos uma leitura da prática arqueológica a partir de conceitos provenientes do pensamento crítico contemporâneo, designadamente: o Arquivo, a Compreensão e o Acontecimento. Tentamos demonstrar o processo arqueológico como uma prática de arquivo onde seconstituem objetos de estudo que, enquanto objetos de compreensão, podem ser elementos das condições de Acontecimento, isto é, elementos que abalam as finalidades impostas ao conhecimento arqueológico e o abrem enquanto possibilidade de relação com a diferença.

Modern devlet dediğimiz yapıyı anlamak için, modern öncesi oluşumlara da bakmak gerekir. Böylece siyasal iktidarın bir bölümü olan modern devleti daha net anlayabiliriz. Her şeyden önce, modern devlet, siyasal iktidarın kurumsallaşmış halidir. Başka bir ifadeyle, modern devlet, siyasal iktidarın en ağır ve modern açılımıdır. Devletsiz toplumlardan ve kutsallaştırılmış siyasi iktidardan faklı olarak, kurumsallaşmış siyasal iktidarda, yasayı söyleyen de, onu uygulayan da farklı organlardır. Artık yasa-uygulama birliği ortadan kalkmıştır. Modern devlet, fiziksel, rasyonel ve hukuksal özelliklere sahiptir. Modern devletin omurgası, meşru şiddet tekelidir ve egemenlik ve sınırlarla birlikte devletin fiziksel yapısını meydana getirir. İdari merkezileşme anlamına gelen bürokrasiyle ise, devlet rasyonel bir nitelik kazanır.
