The Microwave Spectra of Isotopic Molecules of Sulphur Dioxide

Abstract

Swmmary80me new lines in the spectra of 3480 2 and 33802 have been measured and accounted for in terms of a semi-rigid rotor model with centrifugal distortion coefficients derived from Kivelson's (1954) published figures for 3280 2, and rotational constants obtained from the measurements.The hyperfine structure of the 3380 2 1 11 +-2 02 transition has been analysed and found to agree with the quadrupole coupling constants of Bird and Townes (1954).
