The Microscopic Transcanal Approach in Stapes Surgery Revisited

Abstract: The microscopic transcanal (aka transmeatal) surgical approach was first described in the 60s, offering a minimally invasive means of reaching the external auditory canal, the middle ear, and epitympanon.
