The ability of the adolescent to connect well with parents and peers (Baytemir, 2016;Laghi, Pallini, Baumgartner and Baiocco, 2016) and the quality of his/her friendships was found to be an important predictor of the happiness of adolescents (Demir, Özdemir and Weitekamp, 2007;Raboteg-Saric and Sakic, 2014).
