The mediating role of psychological capital on the association between occupational stress and depressive symptoms among Chinese physicians: a cross-sectional study

“…Employee's PsyCap has significant positive effects on job performance (Luthans et al, 2007;Sun et al, 2012), organizational commitment (Larson and Luthans, 2006), and well-being (Avey et al, 2010), but it is negatively associated with work-family conflict , job stress (Avey et al, 2009) and depression (Liu et al, 2012).
