The mechanism of obstetric brachial plexus injury and the role of neurophysiology

Abstract: The field of obstetric brachial plexus injury (OBPI) has entered a period of doubt which can confuse both clinicians and the lay public. It does, however, challenge the established truths, often to the benefit of patients.
