Abstract:In the conventional treatment method, the ends of the cleft lip are tightened with the medical bandage to minimize the opening area of the cleft lip, using the direct pressure created by the tensile strength of the cleft lip. The traditional method does not provide the ability to control the amount of tension and pressure caused by the pulling of the medical bandage.
