The Meaning of Wagashi as a Reflection of Japanese Cultural Values in the Drama Entitled Watashitachiwa Douka Shiteiru

Abstract: The culture of eating (shoku bunka) in Japan has become known to the world community today. These include sweet cakes known in Japanese as wagashi, which are usually served at the same time as the tea ceremony (chanoyu). Wagashi has various types, and is made based on the conditions and philosophy contained in the maker itself.
