RECENTLY there has been much discussion about the choice of treatment for carcinoma of the body of the uterus. With the object of trying to assess the results obtained by different methods of treatment all the cases of this disease which were seen at Chelsea Hospital for Women and at the Royal Marsden Hospital during the years 1943-1953 have been reviewed. The two hospitals have a combined clinic for gynaecological cancer, to which some of the cases were referred from other hospitals, but the majority of cases came from the ordinary out-patient department of the Chelsea Hospital for Women.
