The mammals of Tom Green County, Texas

Abstract: Mammalian distributions in central Texas are not well known. With the exception of Coke County (Simpson and Maxwell, 1989), no comprehensive county surveys have been conducted in this part of Texas. Al¬ though the region was included in distribution maps published by Davis andSchmidly (1994) andHall (1981), records reported are incidental and not the re¬ sult of systematic collecting efforts.
